A farmer was unhappy because of his low crop yeild. He discussed the problem with an agricultural scientist and realised that the soil of his field was either too acidic or too basic. What remedy would you suggest the farmer to neutralise the soil?
Pls....... tell me the answer

he should use basic fertiliser if his soil is acid like lime stone ,wood ash, sodium nitrate etc but if his land is basic he should use acidic fertiliser like calcium carbonate

heya !!

here's your answer:

●Soil acidity can be corrected easily by
◆ liming the soil,(throug limestone) or
◆adding basic materials,
 to neutralize the acid present.

●Elemental sulfur may be used to acidify alkaline soil to the desirable pH range.
