The speed of the faster train is 50 Km/hr and speed of the slower train is 40 Km/hr.

Step-by-step explanation:

Let the speed of the fast train be x. Then speed of the slow train is x-10. Distance is 200km.

Given:

200/x - 200/(x-10) = 1  as time = distance / speed

200(x-10) - 200x = x(x-10)

200x -2000 - 200x = x² - 10x

x² - 10x + 2000 = 0

x² - 50x - 40x + 2000 = 0

x (x - 50) -40 (x - 50) = 0

(x - 50) (x - 40) = 0

So x can be +40 or 50.

So the speed of the faster train is 50 Km/hr and speed of the slower train is 40 Km/hr.
