Find :-

• Present age of Father & his son.

Explanation

Let,

• Age of Father = x years
• Age of His son = y years.

According to question

==> x = 3y

==> x - 3y = 0____________(1)

Again,

==> (x - 15) = 9 × (y - 15)

==> x - 9y = - 135 + 15

==> x - 9y = - 120___________(2)

Subtract equ(1) & equ(2)

==> -3y + 9y = 120

==> 6y = 120

==> y = 120/6

==> y = 20

keep in equ (1)

==> x - 3×20 = 0

==> x = 60

Hence

• Present Age of Father (x) = 60 years
• Present age of his son (y) = 20 years.
