▪Therefore the age of father is 3 times older=3y

▪After 15 years the age of father will be twice the age of son.That is,2(y+15)=3y+15

expand it, 2×y+2×15=3y+15 2y+30=3y+15 3y+15=2y+30

3y-2y+15=30 y+15=30

therefore y=30-15=15

▪That is,the present age of son is 15 and that of father is 3×15=45

▪After 15 years it will be,15+15=30 and 45+15=60

▪60 is the double of 30
