Given

  • Father is six times as old as his daughter
  • After 4 Years, he will be only four times as old his daughter

Explanation

Let the age of the Daughter be x and Father's age be 6x

After 4 Years,

  • Daughter's Age = (x + 4)
  • Father's Age = (6x + 4)

 \bigstar {\pmb{\underline{\sf{ According \ to \ Question: }}}} \\ \\ \\ \colon\implies{\sf{ 4(x + 4) = (6x + 4) }} \\ \\ \\ \colon\implies{\sf{ 4x + 16 = 6x + 4 }} \\ \\ \\ \colon\implies{\sf{ 16-4 = 6x-4x }} \\ \\ \\ \colon\implies{\sf{ \cancel{12} = \cancel{2} x }} \\ \\ \\ \colon\implies{\sf{ x = 6 }} \\

Hence,

  • Daughter's Age = x = 6 Years
  • Father's Age = 6x = 6×6 = 36 Years
