a father is six times as old as his son. In 6 years he will be thrice as old as his son. How old is the father now also find the sons present age??

Age of father be x
Age of son be y
From given x=6y. ---------(1)
After 6 years age of father is x+6
And age of son is y+6
As given. 3(x+6)=(y+6)
Now it is as we expand
3x+18=y+6
3x+12=y
From 1 it is 3(6y)+12=y
18y+12=y
