Let age of son = x

GIVEN, father's age is 3times to son's age.

So, father's age = 3×x = 3x

GIVEN, sum of their ages results in 52.

THAT MEANS :-

x + 3x = 52

4x = 52

x = 52 ÷ 4 = 13

RESULT

x = son's age = 13 yrs.

3x = father's age = 13 × 3 = 49

TO CHECK

Sum of their ages = 52

13 + 49 = 52
