✌✌ HEY MATE HERE IS YOUR ANSWER ✌✌

Let the present age of father be x yrs
And the present age of son be y yrs

According to question

x = 2y -------------------- i

20 years ago
Father's age = x-20
Son's age = y-20
=> (x-20) = 12(y-20)
=> x-20 = 12y - 240
=> x-12y = -240+20
=> x-12y = -220
=> x-12y+220 = 0 ------------------- ii

Substituting the value of x from i to ii

=> 2y -12y = -220
=> -10y = -220
=> y = 22 yrs

x = 2y
=> x = 2*22
=> x = 44 yrs

Therefore, present age of father is 44 yrs.

Hope it helps you !!!!!
