Let father's age =X
then son's age = X/2
and daughter's age = X/3
now according to question
X = X/2 +X/3 +8
X-X/2 -X/3 =8
by taking LCM of 2&3 we get 6
now (6X-3X-2X)/6 = 8
X= 6*8
X =48
so daughter's age = 48/3 = 16 years.
then son's age = X/2
and daughter's age = X/3
now according to question
X = X/2 +X/3 +8
X-X/2 -X/3 =8
by taking LCM of 2&3 we get 6
now (6X-3X-2X)/6 = 8
X= 6*8
X =48
so daughter's age = 48/3 = 16 years.
