Dear Diary,
This year for Republic Day, we had a grand celebration at our school. The chief guest for this year was the Chief Minister himself. It was such a great honour to have him with us on such an auspicious day. He inaugurated the event along with our Principal Madam by hoisting the flag and lighting the holy lamp.
In addition to the usual sports events and the march parade, we had some cultural performances as well by the junior and senior students. The guest performance was done by a famous band troop who performed wonderfully. It was really the most exquisite celebration we have had in a while. I am glad everyone enjoyed it a lot.
