Given :
Length of tank (l)= 40 m
Breadth of tank(b) = 20 m
Height of tank(h) = 10 m

Length of field (l)= 150 m
Breadth of field(b) = 80 m

Volume of the earth taken out =volume of the volume of the tank= l × b ×h
Volume of the earth dug out = 40 × 20 ×10
Volume of the earth dug out = 8000m³

Let the height of the field rise be ‘h’ m
Volume of the field (cuboidal) = Volume of the earth taken out
l × b ×h = 8000 m³

150 × 80 × h = 8000
h = 8000/(150×80) = 10 /15 = ⅔ m = 0.67 m

Hence, the the level of field raised is 0.67 m

heya..!!!!

let the length of the tank be l
breath = b
height = h

and the length of field be l'
breath = b'
height of field = h'

given that;-

l = 40m
b = 20m
h = 10m

AND

l' = 150m
b' = 80m
h' = ?

now,

Volume of the earth taken out =
volume of the tank = l × b ×h
Volume of the earth dug out = 40 × 20 ×10
Volume of the earth dug out = 8000m³

now,

Volume of the field = Volume of the earth taken out

=> l' × b' ×h' = 8000 m³

=> 150 × 80 × h' = 8000

=> h' = 80/120

=> h' = 8/12

=> h' = 2/3m

Hence, the the level of field raised is 2/3m = 0.67 m
