A field is 200m long and 150m broad. there is a plot 50m long and 40m broad, near the field. the plot is dug 7m deep and the earth taken out is spread evenly on the field. By how many metres is the level of the field raised? Give answers to two place of decimal.

so, 50 x 40 x 7 = 14000 m cu. is taken out.
14000 / (200 x 150 ) = 7/15 m
The level of the field raised by 7/15 m .
7/15 m = 0.47 m ( approx.)
