A field is 70m long and 40m wide. In one corner of the field, a pit which is 10m long, 8m broad and 6m deep has been dug. Soil taken out of it is evenly spread over the remaining part of the field. Find the rise in the level of the field

AREA OF THE FIELD IS EQUAL TO 2800 SQUARE METRES
AREA OF THE PIT IS EQUAL TO 80 SQUARE METRES
REMAINING AREA OF THE FIELD = 2720 SQUARE METRES
RISE IN LEVEL IS EQUAL TO THE VOLUME OF THE PIT = 480 CUBIC METERS
