area of field =14×20=280m^2

volume of well =22/7×7/2×7/2×10=385m^3

area of base of the well=22/7×7/2×7/2=38.5m^2

remaining area=280-38.5=241.5m^2

By the given,

volume of earth taken out is evenly spread in the remaining field,

therefore,

385m^3=241.5×h

385/241.5=h

h=1.594....m
