construction- db is joined
now in right triangle dab,
db^2=ad^2+ab^2
db^2= 24^2+18^2
db^2= 900
db=30m
area of triangle dab =0.5×18×24
= 216m^2
now by applying herons formula for triangle dbc we get
area of triangle dbc=600m^2
area of field=area of triangle dab+area of triangle dbc
=216+600
=816m^2
therefore area of the field will be 816m^2
