To be found :-

The cost of fencing the rectangular field at the rate of Rs 20 per metre

The fencing is done for the perimeter

So,

First of all, find the perimeter of the rectangular field

We know that,

Perimeter of a rectangle = 2(l +b)

[ in which l is the length and b is the breadth of the rectangle ]

So,

Perimeter of the rectangular field

= 2(l + b) unit

= 2(130 + 95) cm

= 2 × 225 cm

= 450 cm

If the cost of fencing is Rs 20 per metre

Than,

The cost of fencing the rectangular field of perimeter 450m

= 450 × 20
