To Find :-

• Total cost of polishing ?

Solution :-

we know that,

• Area of parallelogram = Base * Corresponding altitude .

so,

→ Total area of parallelogram = 4.2 * 2.5 = 10.5 m² .

then,

→ Total cost of polishing = Rate / m² * Total area = 18 * 10.5 = Rs.189 (Ans.)

Hence, cost of polishing is Rs.189 .
