u can simply use Pythagoras theorem to take out the lenth between foot of ladder to building.

here

(length of ladder)^2-(length of building)^2=(length of foot of ladder from building.)^2

(100)^2-(80)^2=(10000-6400)

so length ={10000-6400)^2=60
