Explanation:

u = 0 m/s, v = 50 m/s, d = 0.250 m

v² = u² + 2as

(50)² = (0)² + 2 x a x 0.250

2500 = 0.5 x a  

 a = 2500 ÷ 0.5  

a = 5000 m/s²  

v = u + at

50 = 0 + 5000 x t  

t = 50 ÷ 5000

t = 0.01 seconds
