a firework shell is accelerated from rest to a velocity of 50m/s over a distance of .250m. Calculate the acceleration . how long did the acceleration last?

we will use the formula :-
to find acceleration:
v2-u2=2as
50x50-o=2xax250
2500=500a
a=2500/500
a=5m/s2

to find time:
v=u+at
50=0+5xt
t=50/5
t=10 sec
