A fish and a bird were buried in sand but only fossils of fish were found later.explain why..

Fishes have scales while birds have feathers and skin. Scales are hard and they do not get decomposed easily while the bird skin gets easily decomposed. So fossils of fishes are found because their scales remain undecayed.

BECAUSE BONES OF BIRD ARE PNEUMATIC IN NATURE IS i.e.,CONSISTS OF AIR IN BONES BUT BONES OF FISHES ARE MADE UP OF CALCIUM IONS.THATS WHY FOSSILS OF FISH WERE FOUND
