Amount of water stored in the tank = Volume of the tank

.⋅. Volume of tank

                    = Length × Breadth × Height

.⋅.              V = 40 × 60 × 50

                V = 120000 cm³

As 1000 cm³ 1 is equal to litre

.⋅.                         V = 120L

As tank already stored 50 litres of water.

.⋅.Amount of water to fill the tank completely

                              = 120 - 50 = 70 L
