Answer:

If a fixed mass of gas occupies a volume of 273cm³ at STP, then it will occupy a volume of 300cm³ at 27°C  and 1atm pressure.

Explanation:

At STP (273K,1atm) the gas occupies 273cm³.

assuming STP is initial condition,

P₁ =1atm

T₁ = 273K

V₁ = 273cm³

final volume ,V₂ = 300cm³

final temperature ,T₂ = 27°C = 27+273 = 300K

the ideal gas equation is given by PV = n RT

rearranging the equation, we get  PV/T = nR which is constant for a fixed mass of gas.

then,

    \frac{P_1V_1}{T_1} =  \frac{P_2V_2}{T_2}

   \frac{1\times273}{273}=\frac{P_2\times300}{300}

P_2 = 1

the final pressure P₂ is 1atm.
