a flat piece of wood and a wooden ball having the same mass are placed on the same surface.If they are pushed with the same force turn by turn,which one on them will cover more distance?why?

the ball will cover more distance as it has less surface area than the wood piece. Hence it has to encounter less frictional force required to move any substance. The wooden block has lager surface area in contact with the surface on which it is pushed hence a large frictional force is required.

therefore your answer is wooden ball , it will cover more distance
