A flight moving with an average speed of 800 km/h took 4 hours to complete a trip. On its return trip, it took 5 hours to reach its destination due to bad weather. Find the change in the speeds of the flight.

Case 2 - The plane covers the same distance ( 800km ) in 5 hrs

hence, the average speed is

800/5 = 160 km/h

change in speed =  speed in case 1 - speed in case 2

= 200 - 160 = 40 km/h
