A flight of jet airways from delhi to mumbai has an average speed of 700 km/h without any stoppage, whereas a flight of kingfisher from delhi to mumbai has an average speed of 560 km/h with stoppage at baroda. what is the average stoppage time per hour of kngfisher flight if both the planes fly at the same speed

The LCM of 700 and 560 is 2800

So the distance between Delhi and Mumbai is 2800km

Time = Distance ÷ Speed.

Time taken when there is stoppage :

2800/560 = 5hrs

Time taken when no stoppage :

2800/700 = 4hours.

Since these two plains have the same speed when there is no stoppage then it means that the difference between the two times give us the stoppage time.

Stoppage time: 5 hrs - 4hrs= 1hr
