Step-by-step explanation:

Length of the floor is 5m

The breadth of the floor is 4m

So, ( applying ar. l×b )

area of floor =4m×5m=20m²

Side of the carpet is 3m

So, (applying ar. of sq. =side×side(s))

area of carpet=3m×3m=9m²

To find the area of the floor that is not carpeted or (uncarpeted) we will (−) minus the ar. of the floor from area. of carpet area which is not carpeted or( uncarpeted ) =20m²−9m²

=11m ²

Hence, answer Is 11m²
