Given

Number of tiles = 800

Area of each tile = 10 cm²

So,Area of all tiles or whole floor = 800 × 10 cm² = 8000 cm².

Length of each square tile = 8 cm

Area of each square tile or one single tile = 8 cm × 8 cm = 64 cm²

To find

Number of square tiles to cover whole floor.

So,

Number of tiles = ( Area of whole floor) ÷ ( Area of one single square tile)

= 8000 cm² ÷ 64 cm²

= 125

He the number of tiles needed to cover whole floor is 125.
