Step-by-step explanation:

here,

l=7m and b=2.8m

so, area of floor= lxb

= 7m x 2.8m

= 19.6m^2

now area of tile =sxs = 35cm x 35 cm

= 1225.cm^2

1m=100cm

so, 1225/100m

=1.225m^2

so, no. of tiles required= area of floor/area of tiles

= 19.6m^2/1.225m^2

= 16.
