Area of the floor = length×breadth unit sq. Hence, 560 numbers of tiles measuring area 35cm² will cover the floor of area 19600 cm².

Here the dimensions of floor are given to be 7m by 2.8m

so, area of floor = 7 × 2.8

= 19.6 m²

The area of the tiles is given to be 35 cm²

35 cm² = 35/10000 m²

= 0.0035 m²

So, number of tiles = area of floor/area of tiles

= 19.6/0.0035

= 5600

Hence, the number of tiles that will be cut will be 5600
