Base of the parallelogram = 12 cm
Height of the parallelogram = 5 cm
Area of a parallelogram = Base× Height
= 12×5
= 60 cm^2
Area required to cover = 3 m
No. of tiles needed = 3 ×100 ×100/60
= 500
hence, 500 tiles are required to cover a floor of 3 m^2
