The angle of projection \theta\ = 37^{0}

We are asked to calculate the horizontal range of the football.

The horizontal range of a projectile is calculated as -

                         Horizontal range R =  \frac{u^2 sin2\theta}{g}

                                                          = \frac{20^2 sin2\times 37}{g}

                                                          = \frac{400sin 74}{9.8}\ m
