A football match is being played at night in a stadium with flood lights on.you can see the shadow of the football kept at the ground but you cannot see it’s shadow when it is kicked high in the air explain

While the football is placed on the ground teh shadow can be seen.

Here the gound acts as the mirror or the screen for the shadow to fall.

But when the football is kicked up, the ball is in the air and is high up.

Then the ground stops acting as screen.

Hence the shadow of the football will not be formed when it is high up in the air.
