a football match is being played at night in a stadium with light on you can see the shadow of a football kept at the ground but cannot see its Shadow when it is kicked high in the air explain

When ball is placed at ground one can see its shadow but when it is moving then its shadow is also moving in the same way and changing its position with time,so we can't see it's shadow when it is kicked high in the air

Or as it goes upward the shadow will become smaller than it vanishes
