F is directly proportional to linear momentum and the motion is in direction of force.
F= k * p( where p= mv)
F= k* dp/dt

F= k* d(mv)/dt
F= k* m(v- u)/t
F= ma   

velocity final = v
acceleration= v-u/t
F= ma
