\Large\bold{\underline{\underline{Answer:-}}}

\huge{20\:m/s}

\bf\small\bold{\underline{\underline{Step-By-Step\:Explanation:-}}}

As we know

\sf\Large\boxed{F =ma}

Here Given F = 100 N, m = 25 kg

Putting in the equation

\sf\Large{100=25\times\:a}

On solving

\sf\Large{\Rightarrow\:a = 4 \:ms^{-2} }

Now the body initially is stationary therefore initial velocity (u) must be zero

u = 0

Applying Newton 1st Law of Motion :

\sf\Large\boxed{v =u + at}

Substituting the values to find final velocity at t= 5 sec

\sf\bold{v = 0 + 4 \times \:5}

\bf\bold{\Rightarrow\:v = 20 \:m/s}

Hence, the final velocity is 20 m/s

Solution:

From the Question,

  • Force applied,F = 100 N

  • Mass of the object;m = 25Kg

  • Force is applied on the object for a time interval of 5s

As the object is said to be stationary,it's initial velocity is zero »u=0m/s

Using the formula F = ma,

a = F/m

→a = 100/25

a = 4m/s²

Using the relation v = u + at,

v = (0) + (4)(5)

v = 20m/s

  • The velocity of the object is 20m/s
