Answer:

(GIVEN)

Force Applied, F = 100 N

Distance moved, S = 2cm = 0.02m

Work done = 1 J

When the force is applied at an angle of θ°, then

                          Work done = F  S cos θ°

So,

                           1 J = 100 N × 0.02m × cos θ°

                           1 J = 2 N.m × cos θ°

                          cos θ° = 1  / 2

                          cos θ° = 0.5

                          cos θ° = 60°                                (As , cos 60° = 0.5)

∴ The angle between the force and the displacement is 60°.
