Question :-

A force of 100 n is applied to an object of area 2 m sq. calculate the pressure ?

Answer :-

  • The pressure is 50 newtons per sq. metre or 50 pascals.

Given :-

  • Force = 100 N
  • Area = 2 m²

To find :-

  • What is pressure ?

Solution :-

As we all know that

  • Pressure = Force / Area

Now,

putting the values in the above formula we get,

↠pressure = 100N / 2 m²

↠ pressure = 50 N / m² or ( 50 Pa )

hence, the pressure is 50 newtons per sq. m or 50 pascals.
