Pressure = force / area

Force = 1000 N[SI units]

Area = 50 x 20 cm^2

=1000cm^2 [not SI units]

= 1 m^2[SI units]

Pressure = 1000/1

=1000 pascal

 pressure = force \div area \\  = 1000 \div 50 \times 20  \\   = 1000 \div 1000  \\  = 1n
