Given,

             Force (F) = 10N

             Displacement (s) = 2m

To Find: The work done by the force?

Explanation:

as we know that,

A body that has force F travels with some speed or acceleration that falls or arises in that process energy gets formed, and as its a fact that energy neither can be formed nor can be destroyed so it is converted into other forms that terms as work done.

                                            W = F × S

                                            W = 10 × 2

                                            W = 20 Nm

                                            W = 20 J

Hence the work done by the force is 20J.

Given,

Force = 10N

Displacement = 2m

To find,

Work done by the force 20N

Solution

When 10N is applied to the body, the body is displaced by 2m thus the work done on the body = Force × Displacement

= 10N × 2m

= 20Nm

= 20J

Now,

Force = 20N

Displacement = 2m

Thus work done = 20N × 2m

= 40Nm

= 40J

Hence, the work done by the force 20N will be 40J.
