we know

W = f.s

w = f \ \: scos( \alpha )

 = 20 \times 5 \times  \frac{ \sqrt{3} }{2}

 = 50 \sqrt{3}

The work done by the object is 50√3Nm.

Given:-

Force (f) = 20N

Mass (m) = 2kg

Displacement (s) = 5m

Angle (a) = 30°

To Find:-

The work done by the object.

Solution:-

We can easily calculate the work done by the object by using the following procedure.

As

Force (f) = 20N

Mass (m) = 2kg

Displacement (s) = 5m

Angle (a) = 30°

According to the formula of the Work,

w = f \times s  \times \cos(a)

there is no requirement of mass in this formula.

So,

w = 20 \times 5  \times \cos(30)

w = 100 \times  \frac{ \sqrt{3} }{2}

w = 50 \sqrt{3}

Hence, The work done by the object is 50√3Nm.
