A force of 2i+j-k Newtons acts on a body which is in rest. If the velocity of the body at the end of 20 seconds is 4i+2j-2k, the mass of the body is .................. .

Here's your answer!!

The change in velocity = 4i + 2j + 2k

Time taken 20 sec.

So acceleration = 2/20 * ( 2i + j + k)

Let m be the mass,

Then m × a = F

So m/10 ( 2i + j + k) = 2i + j + k

===> m = 10 kg
