Your answer
-------------------
A force of 30N is applied on a table in order to move it but the table did not move
because of the following reasons ----
★ FRICTION
--------------------
We know friction is an opposing force. Thus the friction between the legs of the table and the ground is cancelling the applied force.
★ INERTIA
-----------------
We know inertia is the resistance of the body towards an outside force.
Inertia depends on mass. Thus, the mass of the table is also acting against the a applied force.
