Weight = mg
9.8 N = m × 9.8 m/s²
m = 1 kg
By Newton’s second law
Acceleration = Force / Mass
a = 5 N / (1 kg)
= 5 m/s²
Acceleration of body is 5 m/s²
9.8 N = m × 9.8 m/s²
m = 1 kg
By Newton’s second law
Acceleration = Force / Mass
a = 5 N / (1 kg)
= 5 m/s²
Acceleration of body is 5 m/s²

We know that, force = ma
Force is given in the question.. We have to find mass of the body.
Weight = mg
9.8 N = m × 9.8 m/s² (g = 9.8 m/s²)
m = 9.8/9.8
m = 1 kg
F = ma
5 = 1 × a
a = 5 m/s²
The acceleration produced is 5 m/s² or 5 ms-2
