Question :-

A force of 5N acting on a body at a angle of 60 degree with an horizontal direction displaces it horizontally through a distance of 2m .Calculate the work done .

Answer:

Given:-

          F = 5N

   Angle = 60°

Distance{S} = 2m

Formula used:-

W = F · S · Cos θ

Solution:-

  W = 5 · 2 · Cos60°

     = 10 · 1/2

     = 5J

Hence, Work done by the body is 5J.
