why an electric dipole placed in a uniform electric field does not undergoes acceleration

Here is your answer

When a dipole placed in a uniform electric field then net force on that dipole is zero irrespective of the orientation of dipole.
Forces will always be zero....
and for acceleration force is required...

so force = 0 means acceleration = 0
