Answer:In the first case,

Given,

F=5N

m=m1

a=10m/s2

WKT,

F=ma

5=m1x10

m1=0.5kg

In the second case,

a=20m/s2

m=m2

F=5N

WKT,

F=ma

5=m2x20

m2=0.25kg

Now,

Total mass=m1+m2

=0.5+0.25=0.75kg

Again,

As WKT,

F=ma

5=0.75xa

a=6.67

Explanation: So, u all must be thinking that the answer shoud be 6.66 and it is correct too but since 6.66 is almost near to 6.67 so the answer is 6.67.

Hope it helps ...
