a force of 5N is applied perpendicular to the Plane of a uniform door 2m high and 0.6m wide find the torque about the line joining the hinge?

Here , Torque = Force * Distance from the corner ( here only width is considered ) * sin()

Given : Force = 5 N ,
Distance = 0.6 m ,
Angle = sin90° = 1

therefore , Torque = 5* 0.6 * 1 = 3 N-m
