Explanation:

we know that Force = mass×acceleration

F=MA

F=m1×A1

F=m1×2---------equation1

F=m2×A2

F=m2×5---------equation2

equation 1. ÷ equation 2

m1/m2=5/2

Answer:

(3) \frac{5}{2}

Explanation:

Let the force be F.

BODY - 1

acceleration in body (a_1)  = 2m/s^2\\

F = m_1a_1 \\\Rightarrow m_1 = \frac{F}{a_1}\\

BODY - 2

acceleration in body (a_2) = 5m/s^2

F = m_2a_2 \\\Rightarrow m_2 = \frac{F}{a_2}\\

RATIO

\frac{m_1}{m_2} = \frac{\frac{F}{a_1}}{\frac{F}{a_2}} = \frac{F}{a_1} \cdot \frac{a_2}{F} = \frac{a_2}{a_1}\\\Rightarrow \frac{m_1}{m_2} = \frac{5}{2}
