As it Marriage season going on , from many weeks people of my locality are facing problem regarding loud music in functions. Also your final exams are very near so many of us study till late night but due to loud music we are not able to concentrate on studies. Small children are also not getting proper sleep, as they can't sleep due to loud music and due to incomplete sleep they bunk schools on other day. Our parents who have to go to work early also don't get proper sleep and as they can't bunk offices they have to go early , which affects their health also .

So i would request you to publish this in your newspaper .

To

The Editor in Chief,

The Daily Herald,

XYZ Town.

Subject: The nuisance caused by loudspeakers (OA Systems).

Sir,

Through your esteemed newspaper I would like to express my displeasure on the nuisance and public disturbance caused by PA System (loudspeakers) in XYZ Town.

Many restaurants, cafes and night clubs are using loudspeakers at full volume. This misuse of loudspeakers, especially at night, causes much disturbance to the students who are studying for their exams. It is very difficult for them to concentrate on their lessons when loudspeakers are being used at every corner. The use of loudspeakers in temples is another public nuisance.

Further, we also need to think about the sick people at home or admitted in hospitals who need rest and sleep.

The law enforcement agencies must prevent the unauthorised use of loudspeakers and causing public disturbance. It is one of the causes of noise pollution too. I therefore earnestly request the authorities to take appropriate action and book anyone misusing loudspeakers.

Yours sincerely,

MEENAKSHI

XYZ Town
